Liverpool already planning our Bosman move for next summer, and it’s a 23-year-old left-back…

So successful has Joel Matip’s Bosman transfer been to date, Liverpool are considering bringing in another freebee from the Bundesliga next summer in the shape of Schalke left-back Sead Kolasinac.

That’s according to German publication Bild, who suggest Schalke are desperate to extend the 23-year-old’s contract, having lost skipper Matip to Merseyside before the start of this season.

Currently though, the Serbian’s deal expires in summer 2017, meaning we’ll be able to freely approach him come January 1st – just two months away.

Jurgen Klopp was heavily criticised before this campaign began for refusing to sign a new left-back and sticking with Alberto Moreno and makeshift defender James Milner.

However, the latter has been superb, while as a deputy – Moreno is a strong option.

It appears though that the opportunity to bring in a natural fullback, free of charge, is too good to turn down.

Kolasinac is feisty, strong and hard-working – with bags of talent to boot. On a Bosman, it seems a smart move, although it might spell the end of Moreno’s Anfield tenure if the rumour solidifies.
