Former Liverpool youngster Suso sparked the Milan derby into life yesterday with a brilliant first-half strike.
Picking the ball up on the right, Suso cut inside on his left and curled one into the far corner – much like Coutinho does for Liverpool (but with the other foot!).
Those who remember the Spaniard’s time at Liverpool will know this is a skill he consistently tried for our reserve sides, during friendlies and when he was selected for the first-XI.
Suso is now 23-years-old and is finally fulfilling his exceptional potential. He’s scored four times in 12 Serie A starts and registered four assists to boot.
It’s a shame he couldn’t make the grade with us, but was demanding a hefty contract when we still saw him as a promising youngster, and he was allowed to leave permanently in 2015.
We’re pretty sure he’s going to eventually establish himself as a top player.
