During the debate after the game, his former Liverpool team-mate Steve McManaman declared that Cristiano Ronaldo was on the Argentine’s level, but it’s pretty obvious Gerrard thinks this opinion is as ridiculous as we do!

For us, it’s not even a debate. Ronaldo is an incredible but nobody on the planet can tie Messi’s boots – that’s including Luis Suarez, Neymar and whoever else.
