It doesn’t come as much of a surprise that Liverpool have become the first team in the Premier League this season to have scored over 30 goals and to have created over 200 chances.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have been a formidable attacking force up until now and have the figures to back that up.

  1. Liverpool- 32
  2. Chelsea/Manchester City- 29
  3. Arsenal- 25
  4. Crystal Palace- 21
  5. Tottenham- 19

Top 5 Premier League teams with most chances created (Squawka):

(Figures as of 16:00pm, 27/11/2016)

We have been the stand out attacking team in the league so far this season with Klopp implementing an explosive style of play that has seen us punish teams on a regular basis.

Our goal tally also means we are now the top scorers in the Premier League in 2016 with a total of 73 goals.

Teams are choosing to sit back and defend against us for 90 minutes now due to their fear of what our forwards are capable of.

The key to us mounting a serious challenge this season is finding a way to break down packed defences as more and more team’s begin to deploy these defensive tactics against us.

Our team’s ability to chip in with goals from all over the pitch promises to be put to the test now, with injuries to key players beginning to appear.
