European giants eye £40m Adam Lallana bid

There was a time once where every Liverpool fan would have at first pinched themselves, and then told the club to snap the hands off of a potential buyer offering £40m for Adam Lallana.

Now, the 28-year-old is one of ours and England’s best players and there’s no way Jurgen Klopp or the club would even consider selling.

Liverpool fans, there’s very good news on Firmino & Lallana’s injuries

Sunday papers reported that Ligue 1 behemoths PSG are interested in our playmaker and are considering a future bid in the region of £40m. We’d have ignored it, but the Echo have covered it and we think it’s worth discussing as it highlights Lallana’s immense improvement more than anything.

This term, he’s thrived in central midfield in a role which maximises his ability to press but also dribble centrally. He’s missed our past two Premier League fixtures with a groin injury picked up on international duty, but according to the Guardian, he’s in contention to return next weekend against Bournemouth.

This is great news as Coutinho is set for a considerable spell on the sidelines and Daniel Sturridge is also crocked. With Lallana returning to the centre of the park, one of either Gini Winaldum or Emre Can will likely have to make way – probably the Dutchman based on recent form.
