Ben Woodburn has beaten Michael Owen to the title of Liverpool’s youngest ever goalscorer!
The Welsh prodigy came off the bench tonight against Leeds and helped changed the game, bagging our second, which put the Championship side to bed late on.
What the future has in store for the teenager is frightening, but it’s our job to keep him grounded and let him develop at his own rate!
Still, there’s already a chant for the attacker (who’s only just turned 17…).
It involves his name and his pretty lofty squad number, but perhaps if he comes on and bags again before Christmas there’ll be something more inventive!
