Fantastic news for Reds fans as star man reacts to rumours of a move abroad

It is fair to say very few people believed that Adam Lallana would leave Liverpool to move abroad but to hear it from the man himself is great.

Reports suggested that French giants Paris Saint-Germain had made a £50million bid for the midfielder, but it appears he is going nowhere any time soon.

Speaking ahead of Sunday’s Premier League game against Bournemouth, he told Sky Sports: “I love it here at the minute, especially since the manager has come in.”

“We have each other’s trust and you don’t always get that at clubs. The thought of leaving Liverpool has never entered my mind.”

“It’s a great compliment to be spoken of in the same breath as a club like PSG with those sorts of numbers, but I’m absolutely loving my football at the minute under this boss and I can only see myself being here for the long term.”

Lallana has been rejuvenated since the appointment of Jurgen Klopp as manager and to lose him would be devastating, especially when it has taken him so long to find his top form at Liverpool.

He has been exceptional so far this season and has posed as a main implementer of the tactics and the mentality Klopp has demanded since the day he arrived at the club.

The reaction to his recent absence through injury demonstrates how important he has become in the eyes of Reds fans. He has thrived as one of the three central midfielders and has finally started to provide the assists and goals to justify his price tag.

We cannot wait to see him return to action against Bournemouth.
