This entire ‘Loris Karius criticism’ story has blown itself way, way out of proportion.
It goes back over a week, but the latest instalment involved Didi Hamann launching a staunch defence of his countryman, following Phil Neville’s comments that the keeper should ‘shut up’ and get on with his job, following Karius’s West Ham errors.
That’s the most laughable thing I’ve read in a long time. Disrespectful to say the least https://t.co/eYjYfhg9kU

From this point onwards, our former midfielder had got himself in a bit of a situation – as he didn’t know Carra had also told Karius to ‘shut up’!
Carra is out of order too. Karius is 23 years old and played over 100 top flight games. Outrageous comments, deserves a little more respect https://t.co/DV7Wn2Ldt2

Naturally, Carragher found out about Hamann’s tweets and sent a few himself, which initially seemed to rile his former team-mate.
Shut up. https://t.co/e4ZBjf8Ijl

Pardon? https://t.co/OwDXDngYc8

But it turns out that all is well between the two friends, and Carra isn’t offended by Hamann’s original criticism.
To be fair, Carra has to take any comments sent his way because he hands it out to such a large extent every weekend!
Our legendary ex-no.23 screen-shotted his text exchange with Hamann, and tweeted it to his fans. As you can see, Didi apologises originally (almost), but Carra laughs it off.

Hopefully, this mini-drama can be put to bed!
