This is the most reaction on Twitter we’ve seen to a Jurgen Klopp team selection in some time.
Following a defeat against Bournemouth and a disappointing draw with West Ham, Liverpool’s boss has shuffled his pack and brought in Simon Mignolet for under-fire stopper Loris Karius.

Joel Matip, our best defender, returned on Sunday, but isn’t in the squad, suggesting he’s suffered a repercussion of his injury, although there’s currently no official word.
Dejan Lovren was the centre-back reportedly doubtful, but he starts alongside Ragnar Klavan, with Lucas on the bench.

Big call from Klopp dropping Karius tonight but it’s the right decision. Mignolet the better bet on current form. #LFC

People acting as if Mignolet (an actual PL goalkeeper) replacing Karius for the night, is the biggest first-world problem ever. Get a grip.

Mignolet, Klavan & Lovren. Three names that don’t exactly scream “clean sheet”.

“Wait? Mignolet’s starting? Ow, my foot. Ow ow ow ow. Don’t think I can play, boss.” – Joel Matip

Mignolet, Lovren and Klavan. The defence in that horrible game at Burnley *shudders*

Fair play to mignolet while he’s been in the wilderness, kept quiet, performed in the cup. Gets his chance tonight

Mignolet will come in, have a few decent games then make some huge mistake and everyone will hate him again. Just the way it is.
