Roberto Firmino had a quiet first 45 minutes at the Riverside on Wednesday evening, but was exceptional in the second-half as Liverpool added two more goals to the scoreline and at times threatened to run riot.
Everyone lost the plot when he put Calum Chambers on the floor , but it probably wasn’t even his most impressive piece of skill on the night.
At one point, he jinked past five ‘Boro defenders in beautiful fashion, before unfortunately losing possession.
Still, it takes outrageous ability to do this to Premier League footballers, especially when you’re not blessed with pace like our Bobby.

Interestingly, Firmino was much more effective when he drifted centrally in the second-half, and it may be that without Coutinho, a diamond actually suits Liverpool more than Klopp’s usual 4-3-3.
