Liverpool play three games in seven days over Christmas, with only four days off altogether. Southampton unbelievably have only three days off, but are the only side given less of a break than us.
Chelsea, our title rivals, have seven days off, in what we can only describe as some pretty unfair scheduling by the Premier League.
Why if we’re playing on the 27th and not Boxing Day, are we being made to play on the 2nd of January and not the 4th, like Antonio Conte’s side?
In fact, between our match with City on New Year’s Eve and the Sunderland clash at the start of next year, there’s less than 24 hours.
Craziness. We’re going to need our entire squad, that’s for sure.
Proof we’ve been stitched up in terms of days off this Christmas 😡 pic.twitter.com/w5Aww54WI0
