Mamadou Sakho is being chased by five clubs, all of whom have a chance of acquiring his signature this winter, according to France Football.
The French centre-back is completely surplus to Liverpool requirements, having been frozen out of first-team contention by Jurgen Klopp – who’s told Sakho in no uncertain terms he should leave at the nearest possible opportunity.
This is because of a number of disciplinary incidents which saw him sent home from our summer tour of America in disgrace and then launch a late night SnapChat rant at the beginning of the season.
The report suggests his former club PSG, due to play Barcelona in the Champions League Last 16 in February, are one of the clubs keen – as well as Inter and AC Milan, Lille and Premier League overachievers West Brom.
Right now, any of those are feasible options to an international stuck playing Under-23 football, so it all depends on who wants Sakho the most and makes him the most enticing offer.
