How much money Liverpool are demanding for Mamadou Sakho

Liverpool will sanction a loan deal for Mamadou Sakho in January, that much is absolutely certain.

But according to the Daily Mail, we expect a loan fee of around £500,000 for the out of favour Frenchman as well, with the 26-year-old’s £80k/week wages being fully covered as well.

Premier League side West Brom are heavily interested, but so are PSG (who’ve just beaten us to Julian Draxler and used to employ Sakho as captain), Lille, and both Milan clubs.

Jurgen Klopp hasn’t even selected Sakho in a match-day squad this season, instead deciding to freeze him out and only allow him minutes for the Under-23s.

This is because of a number if disciplinary issues, which all began when the centre-back failed a drugs test for taking a fat burner last season. It was later announced that he hadn’t taken anything on the banned list, but he still ingested a substance without the permission of the club – before being sent home from our pre-season tour of America in disgrace.

We just hope Sakho finds a new club as soon as possible so he can resurrect his career.
