Is this Simon Mignolet’s fault?

We’re not sure, in all honesty – which suggests the Belgian could have saved it, but shouldn’t be judged too harshly for not doing so.

In the first half of today’s fixture with Stoke, Jonathan Walters got ahead of Dejan Lovren and headed in to give the visitors the lead.

Mignolet got a right hand to it, but it wasn’t enough and fans have criticised the newly reinstated no.1 for not keeping it out.
