Adam Lallana has been so good this season that Barcelona, PSG and Juventus all want him, it’s been revealed in the Times.
The 28-year-old Englishman has scored seven goals and registered seven assists this term in the Premier League and has been Liverpool’s most effective player.
A report this morning in the respected publication suggests that all three European giants have expressed an interest in Lallana, who’s set to be awarded a new contract to scare off suitors.
We think this ‘story’ may well be agent leak to get the client a great new contract, but you couldn’t argue that he doesn’t deserve one…
Lallana was poor last night, but that was as part of the front-three. He’s much more effective in central midfield, where he’s wowed so far this campaign and we hope he returns to this role against Manchester United on Sunday.
There’s no way Jurgen Klopp would consider selling Lallana, and in truth – he doesn’t seem like he has any ambitions of leaving – especially if we qualify for the Champions League this season.
We’re not worried by this rumour and expect it to go away when the playmaker puts pen to paper.
