Top six clubs’ summer transfers ranked 1-26: Sadio Mane 3rd, Claudio Bravo 26th

Fans from the top six clubs have been voting as to the best transfer done this summer.

In total, 26 incoming players arrived at Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and the Manchester clubs – from successful ones like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, to nightmarish buys like Claudio Bravo!

Irritatingly, it’s the giant Swede who’s ranked no.1, but with 19 goals in total, it’s difficult to argue considering he came on a free. Similarly, you can’t argue with Chelsea’s £30m N’Golo Kante purchase, as it looks like the Frenchman is anchoring them to a Premier League title.

Fans have ranked Sadio Mane in third following his nine Premier League goals, and our form in January shows how important the Senegalese is to our attack.

Elsewhere, Joel Matip comes in 10th, Gini Wijnaldum 12th, Loris Karius 19th and Ragnar Klavan 20th. Alex Manninger wasn’t ranked and Marko Grujic, who officially signed in January 2016, wasn’t either.

Probably a fair reflection, although in terms of value for money, Matip should be much higher – above David Luiz in seventh for example.

Manchester City’s woeful buys are demonstrated in this list. Bravo and Stones have two of the bottom three places and Nolito is in 18th. Similarly, it appears Spurs’ buys stank too: N’Koudou is in 22nd, Sissoko 23rd and Janssen is 25th!
