Eden Hazard is absolutely superb.
We’re not arguing this fact at all, and believe he’s probably been the best player in the country this Premier League season.
But since Sadio Mane arrived in England – for Southampton in 2014 – he’s actually bagged more goals than the world-class Belgian.
Hazard has 28 Premier League strikes in 92 games, while Mane has 30 in six less games to boot. What’s more, the Senegalese doesn’t take penalties for Liverpool, while a number of Hazard’s efforts have been from the spot.
In the same time, Mesut Ozil has 15, Raheem Sterling has 18, Coutinho has 18 and David Silva has 16.
In terms of goalscoring attacking midfielders and wingers; in Mane, we’ve maybe got the most prolific in the country.
What a signing.
