Reports from last night suggested that Jurgen Klopp will drop Simon Mignolet for Loris Karius against Spurs for Saturday night’s Premier League clash, although the boss has confirmed this isn’t definitely the case.

Mignolet made mistakes against Chelsea and Hull in our last two Premier League games (although he also brilliantly saved a Diego Costa penalty), which might be enough to convince Klopp to bring his German summer signing back between the posts.
With just 14 Premier League games left of the campaign, it begs the question if Mignolet has played his last game for Liverpool.
However, during today’s press-conference, Klopp said he didn’t know which keeper he would pick yet and told the media to delete Dave Maddock’s (the journo who broke the story) phone number..
Klopp coy on whether Mignolet/Karius will start:
“Who said I’ve decided? Oh, it’s a rumour. I’ve decided nothing,” he snaps…

Jurgen not happy with Mignolet/Karius rumours
Klopp: “Whoever told you I had changed number one please delete him from your contact list!”

Still, fans have been debating the hypothetical situation in which Klopp DOES drop Mignolet for Karius – and here’s some of the varied reaction…
It makes sense to give Karius back the No.1 even if we are not convinced by both.

@talkSPORT Neither Karius ( at the moment ) or Mignolet are up to it. Keepers are meant to save you 12 points a season, Mignolet costs us 12

Karius should keep his spot in goal for the rest of the season, he needs to learn. Mignolet has already found his level as an average GK

Currently very little to choose between Karius & Mignolet for #LFC other than the former is a developing player so errors will be ironed out

Chelsea goal wasn’t Mignolet’s fault. Hull was and first mistake in months but Klopp rightly been looking for a reason to get Karius back in

Don’t see the point in Klopp axing Mignolet. When he’ll bring him back second Karius makes mistake. Pick one and stick #LFC.

Mignolet – had years to prove himself and remains a shambles
Karius – young and very talented. Made a few errors, but comes with the turf

Karius was bought to be No1. He’s a better and more confident keeper than Mignolet. I back Klopp 100% alot of you should aswell

Karius. Mignolet. Flip. Flop. Klopp
