Five Liverpool first-teamers have not travelled to La Manga

Liverpool are currently enjoying a warm weather break in La Manga, as the club enjoy a two week break until our next fixture – scheduled away to Leicester on February 27th…

Jurgen Klopp will have his players rested, before peaking their fitness levels and investing heavily in tactical sessions.

But five players have not made the trip due to injury. They are Adam Bogdan (obviously…), Danny Ings, Marko Grujic, Ovie Ejaria and most unfortunately Dejan Lovren.

The latter is the only player in that list considered an automatic starter, but he has a knee injury and hasn’t played for two games as a result.

Hopefully, he’ll be ready for the end of the month, though we have our doubts if he’s remained at Melwood.

Ejaria and Grujic are still out for a considerable time, while Ings and Bogdan won’t feature this season. The English forward may have a chance of fighting his way into Klopp’s considerations at one stage, but the Hungarian keeper will be released in the summer.
