The 500 day anniversary of Jurgen Klopp taking charge of Liverpool recently passed, and it’s been some ride already!
We’ve reached and lost two cup finals, been involved in marvellous home and away victories against huge sides and completed mind-boggling comeback victories.
Liverpool have signed great players like Sadio Mane and Joel Matip and enjoyed a terrific start to this Premier League campaign where up until January, we were real title contenders.
Our form last month ruined our chances of league or cup glory, but we performed sensationally against Spurs last time out which will hopefully put us on track for a top four finish.
Klopp’s message when he joined was that he’d change doubters into believers, and despite January’s wobble – he’s more or less achieved that.
Another whole summer’s transfer window and some top players arriving in key positions, as well as hopeful Champions League qualification, could put us on track for top spot next term.
Here’s hoping, anyway.
