Grujic’s agent makes intriguing comments about client’s future

Marko Grujic will not be leaving Liverpool on loan – anywhere or anytime.

That’s according to his agent Zoran Stojadinovic, who has claimed Dinamo Zagreb – who admitted interest in the Serbian midfielder – have as much chance of acquiring Lionel Messi.

“I am surprised, I don’t know why Mamic is talking about Gruijic coming to Dinamo,” he told Goal.

“He may as well say ‘we want Messi’! It is simply a waste of words.

“Liverpool do not want to let Marko go anywhere, not even to bigger clubs than Dinamo.

“But Liverpool said Klopp counts on him. So there is no reason for Marko to join Dinamo.”

Grujic has only played one full 90 this season, with injuries destroying his debut campaign.

The midfielder has returned to action for the Under-23s, and put in a brilliant performance against Chelsea earlier this week.

Hopefully, he’s close to full fitness and can play some part in our next ten Premier League games. There’ll be occasions when we could do with his energy and strength in the middle.

And with Jordan Henderson out, we’re remarkably thin in our three central spots.
