Under Tite, Brazil are a serious outfit – and El Selecao battered Uruguay 4-1 last night – largely thanks to excellent performances from our two Samba boys: Coutinho and Roberto Firmino.
Edinson Cavani gave the hosts an early lead from the spot, but from then on, it was all Brazil.
Neither Firmino or Coutinho scored, but they were integral to Brazil’s attacking play.
Former Spurs midfielder Paulinho scored a hat-trick, while Neymar notched one himself.
Firmino played the 89 minutes and will keep his spot on the side after a fantastic hold-up performance, while Coutinho looked much more creative than he has done for Liverpool recently.
Most importantly, both came through unscathed.
