FSG to give Klopp largest transfer kitty in club’s history in drastic move towards elite status

If Reds weren’t already excited about this summer’s transfer market then they ought to be now.

The arrival of fresh faces, plural, is seemingly inevitable as Liverpool look to once again challenge at the top of the Premier League table and present itself as a consistent top four club.

Any criticism towards Jurgen Klopp during January was only fuelled by a lack of activity in the transfer market, with many still adjusting to the reality that the German simply won’t settle for players he hasn’t targeted in the first place.

He will have the funds to do just that this summer, though, with FSG set to give him the resources in which to bolster his squad with.

The Reds owners will grant Klopp the largest transfer kitty in the club’s history, according to Paul Joyce from The Times, in a move designed to help Liverpool once again compete with not only the Premier League’s but also Europe’s elite clubs.

Now is the time to make our mark with the club currently under the guidance of a world class manager and in possession of an exciting group of first team stars and upcoming prospects.

Three or four significant signings would instantly make amends for the lack of squad depth that hurt us so dearly following the turn of the year.

Not only will Klopp be given the chance to add to his side’s attacking power, but he will be given the opportunity to address the team’s supposed defensive struggles.
