First up he helped put Uruguay to the sword and on Tuesday night, bagged a screamer in a 3-0 victory over Paraguay.
In both games Coutinho looked nothing short of world-class and we can only hope he returns to Merseyside in the same kind of mood in time for Saturday’s Derby.
