Once he named himself captain of the Liverpool country, but today, Mamadou Sakho, despite still being contracted to the club, celebrated with Christian Benteke after the Belgian equalised for Crystal Palace at Anfield.

Our former striker didn’t celebrate initially, but went over to the touchline to do a pre-planned handshake with his French team-mate – who is ineligible to play due to the terms of his loan deal.
There was practically zero chance of Sakho ever playing under Jurgen Klopp again, but today’s actions are surely the final nail in the coffin of the centre-back’s Liverpool career.
