Jurgen Klopp has had the pleasure of dealing with a couple of selection dilemmas ahead of tonight’s trip to face Watford at Vicarage Road.
A completely contrasting scenario to last weekend’s 2-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace when the Reds boss could only turn to teenage substitutes as a means in which to try and turn things around.
The return to fitness of Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge will give the German more to think about when his side look to take advantage of both Manchester clubs and Arsenal dropping points in the race for the top four.
Divock Origi’s struggle to find some form has led many to call for Sturridge to be thrown into the starting line-up in order to give the striker an opportunity to make an impact in what could be one of his final games for the club.
His inclusion would seemingly mean him playing alongside Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino and Lucas Leiva subsequently dropping out in order to make room for Lallana in midfield.
It will be interesting to see whether Klopp does in fact share the same idea as those Reds on social media…
@emptyMINDZ Think so too mate but I’d start Sturridge tonight if he’s available. Origi (as were a lot of others) was honestly atrocious against Palace

Sturridge to start tonight. What’s the worst that can happen. Time for him to step up and pay the club that pays him 150k a week BACK

IF sturridge is fit I’d like to see him start ahead of origi tonight. Not subbed on at 79 minutes. Origi hasn’t done enough for me recently

I want to see Sturridge start – Play well, fire us to top four, his transfer value appreciates & leaves the club on a high. #LFC #Sturridge pic.twitter.com/6RcPE2fFll

@Anything_LFC Sturridge should get a start. Could make a bigger impact than Origi. Divock hasn’t done much in the last few games as well

After Origi’s performance last week. Surely Sturridge should start tonight. Better movement, more of a threat rn. Origi better as a sub #LFC
