Sadio Mane has been Liverpool’s best player this season by a country mile, as proven by this statistic.
This is how important Sadio Mane is to Liverpool’s goalscoring threat… ?

But he was unavailable in January and we missed him terribly and has been injured since the Merseyside Derby at the beginning of April as well.
Since, we’ve won some matches, but have laboured to those victories and are stumbling in our race for the top four.
Thankfully though, Mane’s making a perfect recovery and is actually ahead of his return schedule.
“I am getting better and I want to thank all of the physios for doing a great job,” Mane told the Echo. “Not just with me, they’re always doing a great job.
“Hopefully next week I will start running, jogging, so I am happy and looking forward to it.”
Sadly, this won’t be quick enough for him to feature in our next two matches, but he’ll be rearing to go at the start of pre-season.
Hopefully, he’ll have a number of new team-mates to meet, with Jurgen Klopp promising to bring in new blood this summer to aid a (hopeful..) Champions League campaign.
