Sanches was rated as the world’s best teenager in 2016, but that mantle has been taken by Kylian Mbappe, with the Portuguese unable to replicate his form from the Euros in the Bundesliga.
His talent is outrageous though, and if Bayern are really considering a permanent sale, we should put ourselves at the front of the queue. Sanches has power, technical ability and composure that could see him develop into a world-class operator, most likely from a box-to-box role.
