Today, the Egyptian winger is cutting short his holiday to fly to London, from which point he will head to Liverpool and likely undergo a medical tomorrow.
This has now been confirmed by respected Merseyside correspondent Paul Joyce in the Times, when previously, the news was only suggested by Italian or Egyptian reports.
The fee is likely to be around £39m, although this includes add-ons based on the 24-year-old’s success at Anfield.
Salah has been a revelation in Italy since leaving Chelsea, shining on loan for Fiorentina before registering 19 goals and 12 assists for Roma this season just gone.
Since it emerged that Julian Brandt was not a viable possibility, Jurgen Klopp has made Salah his no.1 target to bolster our wide areas.
