Legendary former Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich manager Ottmar Hitzfeld reckons Jurgen Klopp will one day join the perennial Bundesliga champions – but only after he’s collected the Premier League with Liverpool.

Hitzfeld was full of praise for our boss, highlighting Klopp as an elite coach with top motivational skills to boot.
“Jurgen Klopp is one of the top coaches,” he told t-online.de
“He will be an English champion sooner or later, of that I am firmly convinced. He is building something with Liverpool.
“He is a motivator and is a fantastic advertisement for German coaches. To get appointed in England is not easy – he did it.
“Jurgen Klopp always belongs among the candidates at Bayern,” he added.
“He knows the Bundesliga, he became German champion and won the trophy. I think and I expect him to be the coach of Bayern.”
Bayern think they can poach anything good that comes out of Dortmund, which has made the Bundesliga a very boring affair – but they’re not having Klopp…
There’s no way our manager would even consider quitting the project he’s started on Merseyside, especially with five years remaining on his blockbuster contract.
We also don’t think he’d break the hearts of the Dortmund fans by taking charge of their rivals, either.
This summer, Liverpool are backing Klopp with funds, and providing our negotiators can get deals over the dotted line, we’ll be very well equipped for an assault on the Premier League and hopefully the Champions League too.
