Another day, another transfer rumour!
This time it’s regarding Argentine international Emanuel Mammana, who plays for Lyon in Ligue 1.
The 21-year-old is a centre-back who played 17 times last season for the French outfit, but is being monitored by countless top European clubs due to his exceptional potential.

According to the Sport Review, we’ve tabled a £14.9m bid for Mammana, and are willing to offer him £54k/week wages. However, they suggest the player will only enter discussions with Liverpool once his club has agreed to sell – not something that’s worried our other targets this summer!
For now, we’d put this rumour on ice…
The man who claims it as an exclusive, Emanuele Giulianelli, is notoriously inaccurate with his claims and until it’s backed up with confirmation from a trusted source, we’d take it with a pinch of salt.
Mammana is a real talent, but he’s not the experienced, proven centre-back we need to come in and bolster our backline.
