Liverpool’s players have endured the toughest and most gruelling challenge so far since arriving in Hong Kong for their intense pre-season training- making James Milner laugh.
The vice-captain was central to yet another treat for supporters as he welcomed the best jokes his teammates had to offer. In doing so, he proved he was by no means worthy of the ‘boring’ label that has famously followed him over the past few years.
Daniel Sturridge was inevitably at hand to produce one of the funniest moments, opting to dance rather than match the cheesy jokes some of the other Reds were at hand to produce.
Divock Origi put his faith in a classic stare down, Trent Alexander-Arnold admitted to having no jokes or banter in his locker and Nathaniel Clyne pulled off the fake hand shake.
Something so simple can be easily brushed aside, but this was yet another demonstration that spirits are incredibly high throughout the squad.
