Goal reporter Melissa Reddy is fast becoming one of the most respected Liverpool correspondents around, regularly beating or matching journalists from well-known broadsheet newspapers to Reds content.
In fact, her recent exclusive interview with Jurgen Klopp was brilliant – and now she’s over in Germany with the squad for our two friendlies against Hertha Berlin and Bayern Munich.

This afternoon, Reddy captured two clips – one of Liverpool’s progression build-up, and a more interesting one of Sadio Mane back in action.
The Senegalese hasn’t played since the Merseyside Derby in April, but it’s fantastic to see arguably last season’s best player back in action. In the video, you’ll see him taking on defenders down the left wing (perhaps his position this season now Mo Salah has arrived?), beating them – and putting in a cross that should have definitely been converted!
The thought of a central Coutinho supplying through-balls to Mane and Salah is a mouthwatering one…
Great to see Sadio Mane back and looking so sharp in training.#LFC pic.twitter.com/eAd15IoXwC
