LFC predicted XI v Watford: The ‘MSF’ form lethal front-three

We can’t believe that on the first day of the Premier League campaign, all we can think about is Coutinho.

The timing of the Brazilian’s transfer request is abysmal and he and his representatives have disrespected the club in a manner some will never forgive.

But right now, Jurgen Klopp has bigger fish to fry: a trip to Vicarage Road to face Watford this lunchtime.

Simon Mignolet will start in goal, while we’re confident Trent Alexander-Arnold will get the nod at right-back with Nathaniel Clyne still absent. Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip are certainties at centre-back, but the left-back spot is less easy to predict.

Alberto Moreno has shone in pre-season, Andrew Robertson’s done well too – but we think the boss will select James Milner – his stalwart utility man.

With Adam Lallana and Coutinho out, our midfield picks itself: Jordan Henderson will hold with Emre Can and Gini Wijnaldum either side.

Up top, Sadio Mane and Mo Salah will flank Roberto Firmino, meaning Daniel Sturride, Divock Origi and Dominic Solanke could provide us attacking options on the bench.

Is this team enough to beat Watford..?
