A fixture that has served Liverpool so well in recent years has once again been at hand to put a smile on the faces of Reds supporters.
Sunday saw Anfield play stage to another emphatic performance against Arsenal, with Jurgen Klopp’s men cruising to a 4-0 win to top off what has been an excellent week for the club.
Days after overcoming Hoffenheim to secure a place in the Champions League group stages, Liverpool boasted their attacking weapons and, in turn, humiliated the woeful Gunners.
It was a dominant display from back to front, with the Reds’ midfield trio out-playing and out-battling their opponents, while a formidable front three of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah again rose to the occasion.
One man to catch the eye was Emre Can, who put in a powerful performance at the heart of midfield- proving just how important it is that Liverpool tie him down to a new long-term deal.
