After the superb effort, which highlighted his dribbling, passing and finishing, Coutinho burst into tears – clearly in an emotional state after becoming the centre of one of the world’s biggest transfer sagas.
We’ve got no problem with this, providing he now heads back to Liverpool, where he’s paid very handsomely, and puts in a similar effort for his employer. Let’s not pretend we don’t need him.
