Andrew Robertson topped off a memorable few weeks on Friday as he scored a stunner in Scotland’s World Cup qualifier win over Lithuania.

The left-back gave Reds a welcomed reminder of his attacking quality as he broke forward to bag a belter in an eventual 3-0 win for his nation.

Robertson’s second goal for Scotland arrived just days after he had welcomed his newborn baby into the world, following up his big move to Liverpool earlier in the summer.

His moment came on the half hour mark as he broke forward on the counterattack, before picking the ball up just outside the penalty area and curling into the top corner.

It was not only a run forward Reds could get used to, but also a clinical finish.
