Andrew Robertson has been superb for Liverpool so far tonight.
(We’re penning this article after 39 minutes, when it’s 0-0 still.)
But already, fans on Twitter are lauding the Scottish summer signing, who clearly possesses an absolute wand of a left foot.
Time and time again he’s found room on the flank and delivered dangerous balls across the face of goal. They’ve deserved better, in truth, as so far, the likes of Dominic Solanke and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain haven’t been able to get on the end.
Many are dubbing him ‘Robertson Carlos’ which is superb, especially considering we’ve got the Scouse Cafu – Jon Flanagan – playing on the other side!
At this rate, Robertson may be climbing ahead of Alberto Moreno in the left-back pecking order.
Provided one of them is playing well, we’re happy.
If we bought Robertson 3 years ago Benteke may have saved his career.

Liverpool fans, don’t use Robertson’s performance as an excuse to slag off Moreno. Use it as an excuse to praise Robertson. Be positive.

Haven’t seen anyone in our defence cross like Robertson since Aurelio. Oh Aurelio, I miss you so much bro 😔❤️

I am one more sumptuous cross away from getting Robertson 26 printed on the back of the coat I wear to the match. 🔥🔥

Robertson for £10 million is an absolute steal. Class player.
