Ian Wright always comes across as a thoroughly decent lad, to us.
And last night, the ex-Arsenal forward turned likeable pundit went on a Twitter blocking spree – alienating the Arsenal fans who have turned on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The player joined us from the Gunners on transfer deadline day for a cool £35m, but unfortunately arrived just as we entered a bad patch of form.
Arsenal supporters have delighted in this and have tried to turn Oxlade-Chamberlain into some kind of internet joke, but Wright thinks it’s totally uncalled for.
Not only did he profess his love for Liverpool’s midfielder, but told those criticising him for it to ‘Go f*** yourselves’.

At EOTK, we just desperately want Oxlade-Chamberlain to prove his doubters wrong, which now already includes some Liverpool fans, sadly.
There’s no way we should be judging him when he’s started just one game.
If Jurgen Klopp fully backs him to fulfil his talent with us, then so should we.
