Liverpool stumbled to a 1-1 draw with Newcastle yesterday and Jurgen Klopp didn’t take it very well.
The boss was visibly frustrated all afternoon by our sloppy finishing, which has seen us win just one of our past seven games in all competitions.
Having said that, Liverpool were dominant all afternoon against the Toon, and would have won easily if we’d taken the gilt-edged chances which were consistently presented to us.
So when a reporter told Klopp he believed 1-1 was a ‘fair result’, the boss took exemption.
‘So this was the first football match you’ve seen in your life?’ Klopp asked, before biting his tongue and reeling in his frustration.
