With a large proportion of the team on duty for their respective countries, the Spaniard got the chance to fulfil his very evident attacking ambitions.
You know, the kind that see him bursting into the opposition’s final third when Liverpool are trying to hold a lead in the 80th minute.
The left-back made the most of his opportunity to catch the eye in training this week by producing a stunning scorpion kick goal- with the added bonus having it caught on camera.
Finishing off a nice one-two with James Milner, Moreno volleyed home acrobatically before jogging off with beaming smile- reflective of a man who loves hitting the back of the net.
