Klopp’s reaction to rude Slovenian journo during CL presser

Jurgen Klopp’s last Champions League pre-match press-conference in Russia was at times, farcical.

He ended up having to answer a question on how much he loves Harry Kane, which in fairness, did actually come from a travelling English reporter.

Today in Slovenia ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Maribor, Klopp was analysed quite brashly by a journalist who compared the German to Fabio Capello, Carlo Ancelotti and Jose Mourinho.

While they’re not especially liked, he said, they win things – suggesting that Klopp should be less media-friendly and collect more trophies.

“So I am a charismatic, funny, loser?” Klopp responded.

Hopefully Klopp can silence some of the more irritating questions he’s been receiving recently with a win tomorrow.

We should be much stronger than Maribor, but finishing our chances has proven a real problem in recent weeks.

Against Spartak we completely dominated but conceded a sloppy goal, failed to convert our opportunities and left with one point.

The likes of Coutinho, Roberto Firmino, Mo Salah and co. have more than enough ability to put Maribor to the sword though, which will give us confidence ahead of the weekend’s Wembley tie with Spurs.
