Mohamed Salah has gifted Liverpool a glimmer of hope at Wembley after an abysmal start from Jurgen Klopp’s men.
The Egyptian had rarely been involved in the first 20 minutes but popped up with a crucial goal after Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son had put the hosts 2-0 up.
Salah was able to slot the ball past Hugo Lloris after running onto Jordan Henderson’s superb through ball, which the Tottenham goalkeeper should have come out to collect.
All of a sudden Liverpool find themselves back in the contest.
