Klopp names exciting return date for Sadio Mane & Adam Lallana –

Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana will be in contention to return from injury against Southampton, ironically the club they both joined Liverpool from.

The pair are not available for this weekend, nor Maribor midweek or West Ham next – but following another two week break for the international matches, could return to the starting XI for November 16 at Anfield.

Klopp’s our most ‘World-Class signing for a decade’, but is making this big mistake…

Mane was originally scheduled to be out until the end of November, while Lallana hasn’t featured all season – so it’s exciting news regarding two of our best and most influential players.

“[They’re doing] very good. But not an option for tomorrow, not an option for Wednesday, not an option for West Ham,” Jurgen Klopp told today’s press-conference, cited in the Echo.

“After the international break I think Adam and Sadio are back, it will be close. Hopefully they can train during the international break and be part of normal training.”

For us, both Mane and Lallana walk into our best XI when fully fit.

The Senegalese provides pace, trickery, dynamism and consistent end product whether on the left or right, while his English team-mate sets the tone for our midfield press and has fantastic technical ability.

When the pair haven’t been available this term, we’ve missed them greatly – and we only hope the likes of Mo Salah, Coutinho and whoever else don’t pick up problems upon their return.

It would be fantastic if Klopp could field Salah, Mane and Roberto Firmino up top – with Coutinho and Lallana in the no.8 positions either side of an anchorman (likely Jordan Henderson or Emre Can).
