Keane: Liverpool play horrible football & are going nowhere

Posted by

Outspoken, obnoxious former United star Roy Keane has laid into Liverpool, despite our 3-0 win over Maribor last night.

The failed manager turned pundit claimed he wouldn’t watch us if we were playing in his back garden, which is a quote copied quite blatantly from Bill Shankly – our legendary former boss…

“It’s hard to figure out Liverpool at the moment,” he told BT, cited in the Daily Star.

“It’s hard to get excited about them. For me they are going nowhere fast and come the end of the season when the prizes are being handed out, Liverpool will be nowhere near.

“I think if they were playing in my back garden, I wouldn’t watch them. It’s a pretty big (garden), but let’s be honest they are going nowhere.

“The big picture for Liverpool moving forward – they are way behind the other teams.”

We haven’t been especially inspired by Liverpool in our past two matches, but we scored six goals, conceded none and won both.

If that was by a team managed by Jose Mourinho, it would be described as clinical, or ‘winning ugly’…

And that’s before mentioning United’s bus-parking atrocity at Anfield, something they’ll surely do five or six more times this season whenever they come up against someone decent.

We’re glad Keane is writing us off, to be honest. For us at EOTK, the only teams in the country ‘better’ than us right now are Manchester City and Spurs. Arsenal, Chelsea and United are there for the taking.
