Where Trent/Woodburn/Ejaria rate in World’s Top 100 Teens

FourFourTwo have compiled their annual list of the World’s Best 100 Teenagers and have ranked Trent Alexander-Arnold at no.9.

This is reward for his wonderful start to life in Liverpool red, which has seen him score two Champions League goals this term and battle Joe Gomez for the right-back spot in Nathaniel Clyne’s absence.

He’s ahead of fellow Liverpool players Ben Woodburn (33) and Ovie Ejaria (70), but there’s surprisingly no place for Rhian Brewster, who just fired England to victory at the U17 World Cup.

The striker is actually the player who can go on to achieve the most, in our opinion.

AC Milan keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is no.1, while PSG forward Kylian Mbappe is next at no.2. Weirdly, FourFourTwo have picked 20-year-old Marcus Rashford at no.3 – then not explained why he’s the only non-teen eligible.

We expect it was a massive editorial mistake and they just decided to go with it anyway!

Interestingly, Christian Pulisic, a former Liverpool target, is 4th, with Kai Havertz, a current Liverpool target, 6th.

It’s nice to know we have some of the best youngsters on the planet among our ranks and want more of them.
