You’re not doing too badly when you break a goalscoring record which has stood for more than 20-years…
Especially when you play on the wing.
Mo Salah’s brace against Southampton in the first-half at Anfield today means he’s now bagged nine Premier League goals in his first 12 appearances, which breaks Robbie Fowler’s record of eight from the mid-1990s.
It prompted Chris Bascombe to declare Allah over God, due to Salah’s religion and the Kop’s nickname for our former striker!
Because ridiculous people online complained about the joke, he deleted his message, but thankfully, the more sensible supporter joined in and shared it themselves…
Salah is undeniably the best signing of the summer and potentially our best since Luis Suarez.

Mo Salah has started his LFC career in even more prolific form than Robbie Fowler. Allah currently edging out God.

Salah the first red to score 8 goals in his first 12 league games since Fowler. Then went and scoured another. Fowler's nickname was God, Mo's could be Allah #lfc
