Roberto Firmino made sure he was amongst the goals on Sunday by heading home Liverpool’s fourth against Bournemouth.
The Brazilian had been excellent all game, leading Liverpool’s familiar high press and playing a key role in another explosive counterattacking display from the Reds.
His moment in the spotlight came in the 66th minute, when he met Philippe Coutinho’s incisive cross with a cleverly glanced diving header.
It served as a deserved reward for another all-action and unrelenting performance from the engine behind Liverpool’s attacking excellence.
Jurgen Klopp’s No.9 led the line expertly throughout, proving key in forcing Bournemouth’s defence into costly errors and offering the selfless runs to create space for his teammates.
