Sadio Mane knows better than most how good Naby Keita is at football.
The pair played together at Red Bull Salzburg and became best friends during their time in Austria.
In fact, Mane is one of the primary reasons Keita chose to join us instead of the other interested teams, after our Senegalese flyer sold him the club.
In an interview with LFCTV, Mane was asked his former and future team-mate, and gave a brilliant answer.
“We are lucky to have him because he’s an unbelievable player. You’ll see… No comment!” Mane said, grinning like a Cheshire cat!

Sadly, we have to wait until next season to see Keita take Steven Gerrard’s old no.8, with Rb Leipzig not expected to allow a deal this January.
Our midfield could do with his dynamism and energy currently, but for the time being, patience is required.
Watching his progress in Germany is still pretty exciting. It’s no exaggeration to suggest he’s showing the potential to become one of the best midfielders in the world.
