LFC fans not impressed with Suarez’s role after revelation in Coutinho exit

After his dazzling spell at Anfield, Luis Suarez did a lot to establish himself as a hero with the Liverpool faithful.

The Uruguayan forward scored 82 goals in 133 appearances for the club as he played a key role in some great times for us, before eventually moving on in 2014 to join Barcelona.

With Philippe Coutinho joining him at the Nou Camp this week, The Daily Mail report on how Suarez signed for a house for the Brazilian, anticipating that he would move to Spain.

“He saw that a house next to his became available. He didn’t know I was coming for certain but he liked the idea. It’s a kind gesture. I know Luis will help us to feel at home,” Coutinho is quoted as saying.

Based on the tweets below, his gesture hasn’t gone down well with some supporters, who are less than impressed with Suarez for playing such a key role in helping prise Coutinho away from us.

It has to be asked as to whether the details matter anymore, as whether Suarez helped make the transfer smoother or not, Coutinho wanted the move and eventually got it this week having handed in a transfer request last summer.

While it should raise question marks over players being that involved in transfers as it seems a little further than they’re allowed to be, as noted by some below, our former Brazilian magic man has now been unveiled by his new club, and so it’s time to move on.
